William Don Ramsey was born November 19, 1940, to Charlie Edward and Marie Olive Ramsey in Norfolk, Oklahoma. He departed this life October 16, 2022, in Agra, Oklahoma at the age of 81.

Bill graduated from Yale High School and then enlisted into the United States Army where he served for almost nine years during the Vietnam conflict.

He worked many different jobs including as a lineman and later a cook for Oklahoma State University. He enjoyed fishing with his brother on the Cimarron River, gardening and picking up pecans. He also loved to play the slots and go to bingo with his sisters.

He is survived by two brothers, Sig Ramsey and wife Pam of Seneca, Missouri, Bob Ramsey and wife Jolene of Rock Springs, Wyoming: one sister, Margaret Watkins of Agra, Oklahoma, good friends and multiple God children and a pretend niece. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Dale, and Charlie Ramsey and four sisters, Freda Craig, Josie Walker, Mary Baker and Rosie Cox.

Services are scheduled for 2:00PM, Saturday, October 22, 2022, at the Yale First Baptist Church.
