William Barney Peeper was born January 20, 1936, to Barney and Mattie Peeper in Kellyville, Oklahoma.  He departed this life October 20, 2024, at the age of 88.

He graduated from Bristow High School in 1954.  On May 27, 1955, William Peeper and Jo Ann Coffey were united in marriage.  From this union were born three children, Michael, Mark, and Elizabeth.

Willie worked as a carpenter for numerous years before going to work in the maintenance department for Bristow Public Schools where he retired after eleven years.

He was a member of the Sunrise Baptist Church and a member of the Bristow Coon Hunters Association.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-nine years, Jo Ann Peeper; one son, Mark Peeper and wife Susan; one daughter, Elizabeth Monzingo and husband Matt; six grandchildren, Matthew Peeper, Aaron Peeper, Amy Monzingo, Alex Monzingo, Lucinda Peeper, and Isaac Peeper; ten great grandchildren, Ryan Wheeler, Colt Peeper, Isla Peeper, Kayden DuBuc, Kylen DuBuc, Declan Monzingo, Ronin Burress, Ariyah DuBuc, Mila Monzingo, Greyson DuBuc.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and one son, Michael William Peeper.

Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, October 23, 2024, from 4:00PM to 6:00PM at the Hutchins Maples Matherly Funeral Home.  Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00AM, Thursday, October 24, 2024, at the Bristow City Cemetery.
