William LeRoy McDonald was born July 26, 1938, in Coer d'Alene, Idaho.  He departed this life June 17, 2025, at the age of 86.

He graduated from Coer d'Alene High School then attended Oklahoma State University where he received his bachelor's degree in education.  He was a police officer in Holdenville, Oklahoma for over three years, then began his career teaching at Oklahoma City Metro Tech.

He was married to Ann Brown for numerous years until her passing in 1999.  He enjoyed tinkering on electronics and collecting tools to assist him.  He also enjoyed playing on the computer.

He is survived by one daughter, Tammie Craft; one son, LeRoy McDonald and wife Jann; three stepchildren, Nancy Smith and husband Mike, Ed Fulmer and wife Cindy, Debra Sullivan and husband Rodney; four grandchildren, Ashley Hollcroft and husband Derek, William Sperry, Megan Heck and husband Ethan, Jacey Williams and husband Harrison; four great grandchildren, Courtney, Cassidy, Bohannon, and Hank.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Ann Brown, wife, Ann Vandiver, and two sons, David Brown and Jim Fulmer.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00am, Friday, June 20,2025 at Hutchins Maples Matherly Chapel.
