Obituary

William Troy Haskins was born on August 27, 1951, in Depew, Oklahoma to Homer Troy and Wanda Haskins.  He went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 9, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

On February 7, 1975, Troy married his sweetheart and love of his life, Gail.  Together they built a loving home and raised two fine children and enjoyed a beautiful forty-eight years of marriage.

Troy retired from Hughes/Anderson heat exchanges years ago but started out working as a cowboy ranch hand for the Kelly brothers ranch or as he would later refer to them as commodity brothers for the short pay LOL!

Growing up he always loved his horses and boy he could sit on one with the best of them.  From gathering cattle for neighbors to just saddling up and heading down the road it always put a grin on his face.  Troy was always there to lend a hand to anyone in need and gave everything he had for friends and family.  Often working long hours at work and breaking colts to make ends meet and make sure his family always had plenty.  When he wasn't working, he enjoyed fishing with his sweetheart, Gail and chasing deer and coonhounds in the fall.  He was truly a family man and outdoorsman.

Troy was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Wanda; one brother, Raymond Haskins; two sisters, Sharon Beeson and Phylis Montgomery and the one that made him whole, the love of his life and sweetheart, Sylvia Gail Haskins.

He is survived by his daughter, Evelyn Gann and husband Danny of Depew; one son, Troy W. Haskins and wife, Brandi of Bristow; two grandkids, Gus Haskins and Abigail K. Haskins; one great granddaughter, Jaselyn Marie Haskins.

Troy was a believer and a member of the Bristow Christian Center when he gave his life to the Lord a few years ago and when asked if he knew where he was headed, he'd say "to Heaven to see my sweetheart".

Even though he has already saddled up and rode off to celebrate a eternal life with loved ones, he will be dearly missed by all the lives he has touched.

Good Ride Cowboy, Good Ride!
