Virginia Lucille Schiller was born May 8, 1944 to Theodore and Nova Bell Henshaw in Lyons, Kansas. She departed this life June 2, 2025 at the age of 81 years.
Virgina and Ed Schiller were married January 3, 1963. They made their home in Milfay, Oklahoma raising their children, Jerry and LaDonna. Virginia and Ed enjoyed 57 years of marriage before his passing in 2020. Virginia was faithful in her service to the Lord and was a beacon to many within Milfay Baptist Church as well as family and friends. Her home was full of love and laughter, and memories of family meals and conversations had while the preparation was done. Reading was a way for her to pass the time when times were quiet. Virginia was always the first to offer a helping hand, share a kind word or just a smile.
Virginia is survived by her Children, Jerry Lee Schiller and wife Cheryl and LaDonna Mears and husband James; two grandsons, Ethan Schiller and Adam Schiller; one sister, Brenda Crane as well as other numerous family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ed Schiller; five sisters, Annabelle Wright, Mary Crabtree, Margie Beck, Norma "Sissy" England and Helen Shaw; two brothers, Ted and Robert Henshaw and one grandson, Aron Schiller.
Graveside services will be held 11:00am, Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Stroud City Cemetery. Condolences may be made to the family at www.matherlyfuneralhomes.com.
