Teddy Vaughn Morton, 76, of Bristow, Oklahoma, passed away on November 26, 2025. He was born on February 26, 1949, to Marvin "Pete" Morton and Alta Morton in Bristow, where he grew up and graduated from Bristow High School in 1967.

On August 3, 1968, Ted married Susan McArthur, beginning a lifelong partnership filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Together they raised three children, Lori, Jeff, and Karen—building a family rooted in devotion and resilience.

Ted dedicated his career to the oilfield, working tirelessly before retiring in March of 2019.  Beyond his work, he found joy in fishing, playing golf, taking road trips with Susan, and collecting oilfield memorabilia. His greatest happiness came from time spent with his grandchildren, who were the light of his life.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Susan Morton; his son, Jeff Morton and wife Kris; his daughter, Karen Barnum and husband Matt; his brother, Chris Morton and wife Cindy; five grandchildren, Jordan Evans, Cody Evans and wife Mikayla, Shelbi Tatarian and husband JD, Cole Barnum, and Corinne Morton; and two great-grandchildren, Kayden Evans and Talon Evans. Teddy was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Lori Morton.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30PM, Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at the Hutchins Maples Matherly Funeral Chapel.  Burial will follow at Bristow City Cemetery.
