Ted Lovin was born June 30, 1953, to William "Bill" Clarence and Geraldine Anita (Cole) Lovin, in Talihina, Oklahoma. He departed this life on July 22, 2026, at the age of 73 years.

Ted was united in marriage to Joy Marie Redmon on February 13, 1973, in the First Baptist Church in Odessa, Texas. To this union three children, Rebecca, Michael and Kristi, were born. The couple lived in the Lake Texoma and Kingston area prior to moving to Cushing in 2016. Joy preceded him in death on March 13, 2024.

Ted was a member of the Council Valley Baptist Church. He worked for Duke Energy Field Services for over 10 years. He enjoyed his time in the Oil & Gas Industry, working in production and as a delivery driver. Ted enjoyed driving, traveling and especially spending time with his family.

Survivors include two children, Michael Lovin and wife, Kelly, and Kristi Gayle Wilson and husband, Tim; grandchildren, Levi Wilson, Elaina Moore, Michael Wilson, Gage Lovin and Tayley Lovin; great-grandchildren, Waverly Ann Wilson, Elias Figueroa and Natalia Figueroa; one brother, Tim Lovin and wife, Teresa; two sisters, Jerry Dean Lovin and Helen Waller; brother-in-law, Michael Redmon; sister-in-law, Carma Redmon; several nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to his wife and parents, Ted was preceded in death by one daughter, Becki Moore; nine brothers and sisters: Melvin, Ginger, Norma, Bo, Jane, Mary, Billy, Carol and Annie Jo; and two brothers-in-law, Chuck and Donald.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 24, 2026, in the Fairlawn Cemetery.
