Obituary

Sloan Warren Dominick was born on April 11, 1970, in Bartlesville to Jim and Susie (Cantrell) Gose. He departed this life on March 28, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family after a valiant battle with cancer. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Lifeline Assembly of God in Cushing, OK. Sloan grew up in Copan, OK attending Copan High School and Tri County Tech in Bartlesville. After becoming a certified welder, Sloan worked for many years in the Bartlesville and Tulsa areas as a welder. He enjoyed the rodeo life and was a good bull rider. Sloan married Christina (DeSilva) Dominick on January 9, 1997, in Dewey, OK and shortly after their marriage they moved to Cushing, OK. After the move, Sloan continued working as a welder, eventually leading him to the oilfield. He worked for over 20 years in the oilfield business, was a hard worker and made lifelong friendships. Sloan loved to hunt, fish, grill and loved all animals, especially his dogs. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially being a Poppa to his 5 grandsons. Sloan loved a good time and could be the life of the party, earning him the nickname "Sloan Da Bone". His humor and wit will greatly be missed. Sloan is survived by his wife of 25 years, Christina; their children Ashley Webster of Moore, OK, Shawnae and Kameron Ralston of Cushing, Kaytlynn and Drew Womack of Cushing; their grandsons Gavin and Ashton Webster of Moore, Granger and Samuel Ralston of Cushing, and Kingston Sloan Womack of Cushing; his parents Les and Susie Scudder of Wann, OK; his in-laws Edward and Velma DeSilva of McKinney, TX and Barbara Robinson of Cushing; his brothers Shane and wife Christina Dominick of Tahlequah, OK and Spencer and wife Rebecca Dominick of Bartlesville, OK; his nephews Hayden and Kooper Dominick of Tahlequah and niece Briar Dominick of Bartlesville; his Aunty Norma Houser of Copan, OK, his beloved Pit Bull, Blu, and many cousins and friends. A special thank you to his doctors, Dr. Randy Grellner and his Karman Hospice team, Tiffany, Rachel, Renisha and Dani for their amazing care. He is preceded in death by his father, Jim Gose, father-in-law Herb Robinson Jr., Uncle Dan Houser and his grandparents.
