Shirley Ann Brown Raffety of Cushing, Oklahoma, died on October 17, 2025, surrounded by her family at the age of 77.

Shirley was born in Shamrock, Oklahoma on October 28, 1947, to Joe and Ruth Brown. She graduated from Drumright High School in 1965. After high school, she attended beauty school.

Shirley married Darrell Raffety and together raised three children: Sandra, Jody and Sean.

Shirley worked for Walmart for 25 plus years. She enjoyed retirement in Cushing and visiting the Senior Citizens Center playing cards with friends.

Shirley had a kind and witty personality, was a good cook and shared compassion for life.

Surviving family are her brother; Eugene Brown, Sister; Sharon Brown, children; Sandra, Jody and Sean along with their spouses and grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her parents, and husband; Darrell Raffety.

The family would like to acknowledge the support provided in Shirley's care in her final days by the Integris Hospice Team and her daughter in law, Beverly Whited and son, Jody Raffety.
