Shirley June Bethel was born February 14, 1936, to Charles Thomas and Thelma Christine Williams in Bristow, Oklahoma.  She departed this life August 25, 2021, at the age of 85.

She attended Gypsy public schools.  On June 3, 1954, Shirley Williams and Bill Bethel were united in marriage.  From this union were born three children, Sherry, Mike, and Tim.  They enjoyed 54 years together before his passing November 23, 2008.

She enjoyed quilting, cooking, shopping and most importantly taking care of her grandkids.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by one daughter, Sherry Dowdy and husband Victor; two sons, Mike Bethel and Tim Bethel; grandchildren, Tisha Dowdy, Chad Dowdy and Jennifer Hudgins, Josh & Megan Bethel, Mandi and Scott Horn, Matthew Bethel, Chelsea Bethel, Ashley and Chance Bethel-Johnson; great grandchildren, Blaylen Crawford, Ty Horn, Jaiden Horn, Shane Bethel, Brenlynn Dowdy, Kade Bethel, Taylin Horn, Kiera Bethel, Kinnton Chaney, Kynslee Alexander, Wren Bethel, Rain Bethel, Timber Bethel and Michah Johnson; two great great grandchildren, Aiyden and Adonis Crawford.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and four brothers, Cotton, Jackie, Billy Don and James Williams.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00AM, Monday, August 30, 2021, at the Bristow First Church of God.  Interment will follow at Magnolia Memorial Gardens.
