Sharon Wilson was born on April 30, 1961 in Long Beach, California to Clarence Gitthens and Mary Irwin Gitthens Barthel. Sharon was raised in Long Beach California, Muldrow Oklahoma and Ft. Smith Arkansas, graduating from Northside High School.

Sharon was a member of the Church of God 7th Day Church. She enjoyed going to garage sales, spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Gage and her dog, Hope.

Survivors include her children, Chris Whitson and wife, Yana, of New Mexico, Stephanie Johns and husband, Bryan, of Cushing, Cecilia Black and husband, Dustin, of Oklahoma City, Joseph Whitson and wife, Bree, of Texas and Aubrey Barnes and husband, Austin, of Kansas City, Missouri; her father, Clarence Gitthens of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; her mother, Mary Irwin Gitthens Barthel of Van Buren, Arkansas; grandchildren, Gavin Dunbar, Gage Alexander, Kaydence Pattermann, Tessa Pattermann, Conner Johns, Claire Johns, Trenton Whitson, Paisley Whitson, Breanna Whitson, Benton Harrell, Brinlea Harrell and three grandsons; three siblings, Ken Gitthens, Steven Gitthens and Andrew Gitthens and wife, Karen; and many other relatives and friends. Sharon was preceded in death by her step-dad, Bob Barthel; step-mom, Charlene Gitthens; uncle Ralph Irwin; niece, Hannah Gitthens and cousin, Ralphy Irwin.

Funeral services will be Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 3:00 PM in the Matherly-Davis Funeral Home Chapel.
