Sharon Kay "Shannie" Allen passed away at her home with her devoted daughter at her side on May 1, 2024. Born on June 27, 1942, Shannie's parents were Lee Troxell and Coweta (Cody) Freudenburg.

Shannie was born and raised in Perkins and attended Perkins High School, class of 1960. Shannie stayed in touch with many of her classmates having lunch on Tuesdays with the "Lunch Bunch."

She married Tommy Allen on October 16, 1970.

Shannie enjoyed a good cup of coffee, sitting on her front porch, and of course her daily phone calls with Brooke. She also looked forward to when Brooke was in town and they would "shop their guts out."

Shannie was preceded in death by both her parents; son Lance Phillips; and sisters, Debbie Miller and Trudi Cooper

She is survived by her husband Tommy Allen of Cushing; daughter and son-in-law Brooke and Mike Duff; grandson Connor Phillips; brothers Timmy Troxell and his wife Pat and Jimmy Troxell and wife Darlene; companion who brought her much joy, Toots as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other friends.

A service to celebrate Shannie's life will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 4, 2024 in the chapel at Matherly-Davis Funeral Home, Cushing, Oklahoma.
