Sandra "Sandy" Diane Dees Santo was born June 4, 1942, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Lahoma Nelson and Minnie Louelle Dees. She departed this life on October 27, 2023 at 81 years young.

Sandy spent most of her years in Texas; a place she loved dearly. One of her favorite things to do was taking care of her plants, especially her rose bushes. She loved sitting outside and listening to the rain. Sandy enjoyed shopping and had an eye for pretty things.

She was a loving mother. She was always there and involved in her children's lives and activities. From being a room mom to a troop leader, she did what she could to invest in the lives of her children. Also working different jobs to help provide for her family.

Sandy was very artistic. She loved working with her hands and showed her many talents through the things she crafted. She was also an avid reader. Sandy spent the last 8 years of her life in Bristow, Oklahoma. She loved the time she got to spend with her grandchildren there. Any time she could, she was playing games with them or coloring and doing crafts with them. She loved going to the Tulsa State Fair with them as well. She was a believer and a member of Generations Home Church, which she attended when she was able.

Sandy is survived by three children; Sherry Olstowski and husband Franek of Houston, Texas, Steven Murray of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Shannon Bland and husband Seth of Bristow, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Sara Murray of LaBelle, Florida, Wyatt Bland, Wesley Bland, Walker Bland, and Julianna Bland of Bristow, Oklahoma; three great-grandchildren, Julian Espinoza, Luis Espinoza, and Kehlani Murray of LaBelle, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, former husband and good friend Salvatore Santo, former husband Ted Murray, her beloved Aunt Cathy, and daughter Carrie Murray.
