Obituary

Early Sunday morning, March 29, 2020, Ryder William Lemmon went home for the first time, taking his first breath without machines and his first steps in Heaven. Sweet Ryder was born on December 30, 2018 and on January 28, 2020, he legally joined the Lemmon family, being adopted by Jeremy and Mandy Lemmon. Ryder was born with many health problems and spent most of his life at OU Children's hospital. Ryder was a fighter; he would definitely let you know when he didn't like something and he could light up a room with his smile and dimples. He touched many lives over his short life on this earth, from the nurses and doctors that cared for him to all the prayer warriors who continually lifted him up in prayer. Ryder is survived by his parents, Jeremy & Mandy Lemmon; siblings, Krager, Riley, Brailee, Dane, Tennessee & fiance' Braden, Dutch & wife Lauren and four other biological brothers; grandparents, Rodger & Connie Floyd and Wayne & Jan Lemmon; two nephews, Asher and Kye; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many other relatives. The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and workers that took the time to care and love for sweet Ryder. Our hearts break at the passing of sweet Ryder, however we find comfort knowing "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord". A private family burial will be held at Euchee Valley Memorial Park Cemetery. In remembrance of sweet Ryder, smile a little more! Ryder's smile spoke a thousand words that he wasn't able to speak, and so can yours! Services are under the direction of the Davis Funeral Home.
