Rosetta Mae Abbott was born February 18, 1941, to Lee and Edith Abbott in Slick, Oklahoma.  She departed this life on July 25, 2025, with her family, friends and loved ones at her side.

She graduated from Slick High School in 1959.  She married Thomas Alva Bell, and together they had one daughter and three sons, Sandra Aileen Bell-Vanderslice, Tommy Dewayne Bell, Stevan Vane Bell, and Michael Ray Bell.

Years later, she suffered a divorce but subsequently married Bobby Allen Weaver on January 20, 1978.  At that time, her family grew with the addition of two more daughters, Jennifer Kay Weaver and Lori Diane Weaver.

Bob and Rosetta raised three generations of grandchildren.  Rosetta loved all her family and she and Bob always worked hard to provide a Christian home for their family.  Rosetta loved God and served him faithfully for 47 years at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Bristow, Oklahoma.

Rosetta worked hard in her home and outside her home, including many years with "Humpty Dumpty" Grocery store in Sapulpa, BC Glass, the school cafeteria at Kellyville Schools, and as a bus driver for the Slick Senior Citizens.

She had many friends and loved adventure.  She loved going on trips with her husband, Bob, and family, and whomever else might want to share the excitement of her adventure.  In their early years Rosetta and her family went on many camping trips to Spavinaw, Oklahoma, creating memories that would last a lifetime.  She also enjoyed working outside in her flower beds, and shopping with her daughter and sister.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Bob Weaver; six children, Sandy Vanderslice and husband Richard, Tommy Bell and wife Brenda, Stevan Bell and wife Debbie, Michael Bell, Jennifer Blackburn, and Lori Weaver; three brothers, Lorenzo "Bug" Abbott, Richard Abbott and wife Phyllis, Freddie Abbott and wife Jeannie; and three generations of grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
