Obituary

Ronald Jimmie Williams was born April 23, 1944 to Robert Bob) Williams and Pearl Mattie Wallis Williams in Bristow, OK.  He departed this life June 4, 2024 at the age of 80 years.

Ronald grew up attending Bristow Schools.  At an early age he joined the United States Air Force leaving with an honorable discharge when his duties were fulfilled.  Though a Bristow area resident most all his life; he and Carol would find their selves in such places as Texas and New Mexico for short periods of time.  Ronald and Carol were married in September of 1980 after many years together.  Ronald loved working with his hands.  Being mechanically minded, he could see it and build it before he got it drew out on paper.  He was a phenomenal contractor and skilled construction man who proved to be an asset when he put his abilities to work.  They served him well for many years building swimming pools as he worked to support his family. Ronald loved to play golf and be outdoors.  A talented artist, Ronald was always drawing.  He was proud of his Choctaw heritage and his artwork reflected that.  He was loved by many and respected by all.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Carol; five children, Bruce Williams, Kim Christy, Tonja Dripps, Michael Harris and Tallo Williams; one sister, Patti Williams; one brother, Richard Williams; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Elmo Williams and Robert Williams; sisters, Wanda Joyce, Roberta Williams, Thelma Lee and Snookie Pinson.
