Ronald Dean McGuire was born March 28, 1950 to Herbert and Gracie McGuire in Gypsy, Oklahoma.  He departed this life March 12, 2022 at the age of 71 years.

Ronald, a lifelong Gypsy area resident, grew up attending Gypsy and Depew schools.  He attended Gypsy Holiness Church when he was younger, finding a love for the Lord.  Ronald and Linda Wesley were united in marriage December 24, 1970 and to this union were born two children, Billy and Bobby.  Ronald began a career working with Creek County District 3 that spanned many years supporting his family.  He was an expert heavy equipment operator.  He loved being on the dozer clearing land.  It could even be said that his hobby was working.  Ronald was a farmer at heart and often traded goats or rabbits.  Busy as life could get, Ronald always found the balance between work and family.  His grandkids often spent time with him, never minding the task. He always found time to fish, a love he shared with his grandkids.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Linda of the home; two sons, Billy Dean McGuire and wife Susie and Bobby Gene McGuire and wife Christina, all of Gypsy; two brothers, Hershal McGuire and Odell McGuire; one sister, Florene Smith; six grandchildren, Kamarie Harless and husband Jarrod, Bryce McGuire, Brittney McGuire, Brenden McGuire, Blake McGuire and Hayden McGuire; two great-grandchildren Natalee and Emarie Harless.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Orval McGuire, and three sisters, Goldie Morton, Effie McGuire and Juanita Smith.
