Roger Dean White was born July 25, 1961, to Carl Stanley and Shelia Ann White in Cushing, Oklahoma. He departed this life October 13, 2021, at the age of 60. Roger graduated from Drumright High School. He and Susan Cox were united in marriage August 20, 1982. From this union were born three children, Justin, Patrick, and Sidney. Roger and Susan gained a daughter Aurora in March 2020.He accepted the call to the ministry in 2004. Roger was called in 2016 to plant New Pathways Baptist Church, where he continued to serve as pastor until his passing. Roger enjoyed traveling, especially exploring the mountains of New Mexico on hisATV, range shooting but most importantly spending time with his family. He had a compassionate heart and was always willing to help those in need. He was gifted at the pastorate, any opportunity to share the gospel was his delight; he loved his Lord and Savior as well as his fellow man. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Susan White; son, Justin White, and wife Jennifer; daughters, Sidney Risinger and husband Evan, and Aurora White; one brother, Doug White and wife Judy; four grandchildren, Grace Ann White, Courtney White, Luke Risinger and Levi Risinger; stepmother, Beverly White; sister-in-law, Debbie White. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Patrick White, and one brother, Carl White. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00AM, Monday, October 18, 2021, at the Oak Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Justin White and Pastor Evan Risinger officiating. Interment will follow at the Shamrock Cemetery.
