Robert Lee Campbell was born June 5, 1929 in Keota, Oklahoma to Francis and Martha Campbell.  He departed this life November 19, 2023 at the age of 94 years.

Robert moved to the Slick area with his family in the forties.  In January of 1951 He and Corene Shelton were united in marriage.  Through their years together they were blessed with five children. Robert, a welder by trade, cowboy and cattle rancher at heart, worked in many capacities supporting his family.  If Robert wasn't at home, he was in the field bailing hay or otherwise bossin'.  His younger years were filled with a love for rodeo and roping; a love that has been passed down through the generations. He served on the board for Bristow Round Up Club as well as the Board of Directors for the ASCS.  Robert had a deep love for his family, often sharing stories and words of wisdom. A visit, sometimes if not always, meant work and the reassurance of a job well done. He served the Lord faithfully as a member of Faith Baptist Church in Slick.

Robert is survived by four children, Larry Campbell and Teresa of Beggs, Raymond Campbell and Janice of Bristow, Teresa Hurst and Charles of Slick and LeAnn Harrison and Brad of Elk City; daughter-in-law, Sue Ann Campbell of Slick; one sister, Ruth Conley of Kellyville; twelve grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and good friend, Helen Fisher.  He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Steve Campbell; mother of his children, Corene Campbell, wife of 26 years, Oletta Campbell; one granddaughter, Jodi Campbell; three brothers and two sisters.  Funeral services will be held 10:00am, Friday, November 24, 2023 at Faith Baptist Church in Slick, Oklahoma; interment will follow at Bristow City Cemetery.
