Robert Warren Allen was born December 13, 1951 to Jesse "Warren" and Hannah Allen in Claremore, Oklahoma.  He departed this life June 6, 2025 at the age of 73 years.

Robert was a 1970 graduate of Hartshorne High School.  He also attended Jones Academy Boarding School as well as earning college credits through Southeastern Oklahoma.  Robert was employed with Sequoyah High School in Tahlequah giving them 20 years in their custodial department; a job he loved. Robert grew up in Bristow returning after his retirement.  He was an all-around great athlete and long told the stories of his track days and his being a long jump state champion.  Basketball and fast pitch softball also kept him active.  Robert was proud of his many art projects and his ability to showcase his heritage through the beading of hats and making keychains.  His love for gardening and growing flowers gave him the time he needed to be outdoors and in nature.  He was a member of the Yuchi Polecat Ceremonial Grounds and maintained an active presence throughout his life.  Of the Labors of life Robert was quoted as saying "Being a grand dad was the greatest job he ever had.

Robert is survived by three children, Mark Allen and wife Cheron of Okmulgee, Acee Allen and wife Patricia of Tulsa and Taryn Allen of Muskogee; one brother, Corky Will Allen of Henryetta; one sister, Poni Allen of Moore; seven grandchildren, Joseph Shoemake, Robert Allen, Stevie Allen, Bailee Allen, Blayne Allen, Woxie Deere and Jimmie Allen; three great grandchildren, MorningRose, Hoyane, and Vyopke TsafanE.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Adrianne Allen and two brothers, Roy Allen and Anthony Joe Allen.

Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00pm, Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at the Allen Family Cemetery near Bristow
