Richard “Rick” Paul Reams was born July 6, 1952, to Wayne and Betty (Bennett) Reams in Cushing, Oklahoma. He departed this life on June 5, 2026, at the age of 73 years.

Rick was raised in Yale, graduating from Yale High School with the Class of 1970. He then served in the United States Army. He was united in marriage to Gwendolyn Berry in January of 1972 and to this union three children, Heather, Joshua and Heath, were born. Gwenn preceded him in death on January 9, 2025.

Rick had worked in the oilfield for numerous years. He enjoyed watching Western’s and building stuff.

Rick is survived by daughter, Heather Elliott and husband, Shaun; daughter-in-law, Rickae Rudd; siblings, Vicki Lee, Linda Lehr, Charmaine Hardwick and CL Carlisle; grandchildren, Austin Reams and wife, Reagan, Brady Rudd, Caden Rudd, Gage Sinclair, Cloe Elliott and husband, Jagger, Camron Elliott, Caleb Elliott and Carter Elliott; one great-grandchild, Drue Reams and many other relatives and friends. In addition to his wife and parents, Rick was preceded in death by two sons, Joshua Reams and Heath Reams; one sister, Lea Johnston and one cousin who was more like a sister, Carmaleta Wesbrook.
