Rhonda LuAnn Essary was born August 28, 1956, to Billy Joe and Shirley Holderfield in Bristow, Oklahoma.  She entered peacefully into rest on January 7, 2023, at the age of sixty – six years.

On October 3, 1975, Rhonda married William "Buddy" Essary with whom she enjoyed forty-seven blessed years.  From this union were born seven children.

Rhonda, or "Ma", as she loved to be called, served her savior faithfully, loving Him with all her heart.  She taught Sunday school and children's church for many years and worked as a substitute teacher for Central Vo-tech where she touched many lives.  She devoted much of her heart and time to helping young mothers bring their babies into this world and caring for those in need.  Rhonda loved all creatures, great and small, and turned not one away.

She is survived by her husband, Buddy; Five children, Nonna Frost and husband Jake, Tandra Sisco and husband Tony, Michael Essary and wife Nikki, Jon Essary and wife Helen, and LeHanna Stewart and husband Kaelin; three siblings, Joey Holderfield and wife Laura, Scott Holderfield and wife Cindy, and Darla Holland and husband Joey Dale; Twenty three grandchildren, Elizabeth Beck and husband Tucker, Abigail Frost, Aspen Perry and husband Alex, Kolbe Sisco, Alejandra Frost, Buddy Joe Essary, Ciralyn Essary, Autumn Frost, Koleman Sisco, Michael Joe Essary, Judah Frost, Annabeth Sisco, Siler Essary, Annaliese Stewart, Elana Essary, Novalee Stewart, Kannon Sisco, Olivia Essary, Avonlee Stewart, Emmalin Stewart, Bayleigh Essary, McKenna Stewart, and Elikai Stewart; two great grandchildren, Koulson Beck and Havyn Perry and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Micaiah and Ethan Essary; one great granddaughter, Harper Perry.

Funeral services are planned for 10:00AM, Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at the Bristow Holiness Church.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2022 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at the Bristow Holiness Church.
