Rene Michele Senior, the daughter of the late William "Bill" Fowler and Elizabeth Christine (Lightner) Fowler, was born on July 12, 1968. in Lackawanna, New York. She departed this life on January 18, 2023, in Bartlesville at the age of 54 years.

Rene was raised in Stroud, graduating from Stroud High School with the class of 1986. Rene and her partner, Terri, have been together for over 23 years.

Rene attended the City Church in Bartlesville. She enjoyed horror movies, collecting bobble heads, fishing, coffee, traveling, site seeing, antique shopping, flea markets, playing games and food, especially pizza and Mexican food.

Survivors include her partner, Terri Matlock, of the home; their cat, Cricket; father and mother-in-law, Roy and Mary Matlock of Yale; sisters, Lori Bradley and husband, Gary, of Cushing and Billie Cox and husband, Dale, of Wagoner; sister-in-law, Cammie Pruitt and husband, Skip, of Yale; nieces and nephews, Gary William Bradley, Tiffany Morlen and husband, Brian, Dustin Bradley, Catlin Cox and wife, Sara, Kristi Linder and husband, Weston, Brittany Fox and husband, John, Morgan Brown and husband, Jenner and Parker Pruitt; ten great-nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Rene was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Elizabeth Fowler.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, in the Chapel of the Matherly-Davis Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery.
