Obituary

Rachel Demenica Keeling was born on July 6, 1925, in Stroud, Oklahoma, to Gaspere and Mary Randazzo. She departed this life on March 1, 2026, at the remarkable age of 100.

On November 23, 1942, Rachel Randazzo married the love of her life, Aaron Keeling. Together they shared more than sixty years of devotion, partnership, and family before his passing on March 14, 2004. Their home was one built on faith, hard work, and deep affection for their children and grandchildren.

Rachel lived a life marked by service, dedication, and joy. In her early years, she was the Administrator of the Blackwell Regional Hospital where she devoted numerous years to supporting patients, staff, and her community with steady leadership and compassion. She was quite the entrepreneur having her own bookkeeping business on the side as well.  In the later years, she worked as a comptroller for Frazier Nissan and Buick where she met her lifelong friend Fred Frazier. She was an active member of Church on the Rock and later New Beginnings Church, where her faith remained a guiding force throughout her life.

She found joy in many simple and meaningful pleasures—birdwatching, sitting out on the deck, drinking coffee, reading, cleaning, and spending time with her friends in South Texas. In her younger years, she loved spending time at the lake, antiquing, sewing and decorating, and traveling. She was happiest when surrounded by her family and friends, sharing stories about her life and always making sure no one ever left her home hungry.

Rachel is survived by her brother, Wayne Cooper; her sister, Peggy Jean Randazzo; her daughter‑in‑law, Pam Keeling; son-in-law Paul Chenault; her closest friend, Fred Frazier, and her grandchildren: Heather Wentz and husband Brian, Aaron Keeling and wife Tracie, Zachary Vobornik, Amy Allen and husband Rob, Rebekah Gibson and husband Peter, Anna Willcox, Sara Carney and husband Darin, Micah Keeling and wife Magan, and Rachel Moehle and husband Ryan.

She is also survived by her great‑grandchildren: Ashley Keeling, Michael Gough, Christine Keeling, Brittney Godfrey, Alysson Collins, Mackenzie Lamb, Jordan Dyer, Colton Keeling, Jacob Moehle, Andrew Lamb, Darin Carney Jr., Zoe Gibson, Macy Keeling, Darick Carney, Alexander Lamb, Nathan Willcox, Christian Moehle, Jack Gibson, Paige Keeling, Reagan Moehle, Nicholas Willcox, Noah Willcox; Her Great- Great Grandchildren Fisher, Bo, Taylor, Everly, Ann, and baby Carney on the way and many others who call her "Grandma."

She was preceded in death by her father, Gaspere Randazzo, her mother, Mary Cooper, her step-father Orval Cooper; her husband, Aaron Keeling; her sister, Bettina Beck; her sister-in-law Clara Cooper,  her daughter, Marlena Chenault; her son, Ron Keeling; her nephew, Jimmy Keeling; her great‑nephew, Lance Keeling, her grandson‑in‑law, Douglas Willcox, and her great‑grandson, McKade Keeling

Rachel was fabulous for an entire century.  After all, she always had her hair fixed, nails painted and lipstick on. She lived with class, quite a bit of sass, and so much grace. She demonstrated resiliency, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. She was a boss all the days of her life! If she ever told you she loved you, she meant it with her whole heart and soul. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched.
