Patrick Michael Parrick was born March 25, 1958 to Patrick and Lenora Parrick in Bristow, Oklahoma.  He departed this life August 15, 2024 at the age of 66 years.

Mike was a lifelong resident of Depew.  He graduated Depew High School in 1976.  He married Margaret Cochran on October 29th of that same year.  Together they had three children.  Two sons, Michael Parrick and Courtnee of Depew, Nathan Parrick and wife Amber of Depew; one daughter, Amanda Carrie and husband, Kirk of Depew. Mike was a lifelong resident of Depew and a member of the Depew Church of God.

After graduating Mike worked in the oilfield until starting at Sheffeild Steel in Sand Springs in 1986.  He worked there until his retirement when it closed in 2009. Mike was a hard worker his entire life.  He would spend every day working from daylight to dark on his farm or in the hayfield.  The only time you might catch him not working was when he was fishing with friends and family or taking his grandkids hunting.  He really loved hunting and even shot the fourth biggest deer in the state of Oklahoma in 1988.  Mike was a great gardener and loved to share his crops with friends and family.

Mike is survived by his wife, Margaret of 47 years; three children, Michael, Amanda and Nathan; nine grandchildren, Courtney, Hailee, Ella, Lauren, Kaydin, Max, Preston, Kash and Jase; one great-granddaughter, Jamey Jean; one brother, Kenny Parrick; two sisters, Debbie Case and husband, Robert, Marsha Southerland and husband, Marlin; stepfather, J.L. McGuire; Step brother, Jeff McGuire and wife, Connie; one step-sister, Rhonda McGuire.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Patrick Parrick and mom, Lenora McGuire.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00am, Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Depew Church of God.  Interment will follow at Oakdale Cemetery.
