Patricia Lea Pleasant passed away November 7, at the age of 94, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was the eldest child of Leo and Mildred Orcutt. Born near Morrison, OK on Aug 14, 1931, her dad worked the oil fields on a Cherokee reservation for wages of 50c a day or a bale of hay.

She was preceded in death by by her six younger siblings, as well as her husband of 67 years, Harlan Pleasant. Known to many as 'Pat', 'Miss Pat', or 'Aunt Pat', she lived on the same property just outside the city limits since 1968 — 56 years. Due to her health, in 2024 she relocated to Oregon, joining her son and daughter-in-law. She is survived by her son Steve and his wife Betty in Oregon, two grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews.
