Patricia Ann Norwood Friday was born on January 28, 1946, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Maggie Mae and Floyd Norwood. She was lovingly raised by Lena and Jessie Harry, whom she affectionately called "Mom" and "Dad."

Patricia gained her wings on Saturday, August 21, 2026, at the age of 80. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and woman of faith. Patricia always made sure that her family, especially her children, were cared for first spiritually, lovingly, and with the utmost care. She accepted the Lord as her Savior and was baptized at an early age.

Patricia was a faithful worker in the church and served as a devoted Sunday School teacher for many years at Adam Hill Baptist Church. She later became a member of New Life International Worship, where she remained a faithful member until she was called home to be with the Lord.

Patricia graduated from Slick High School in 1963. Throughout her lifetime, she obtained a degree in Business and dedicated many years to serving others through her work. She worked at Bartlett Hospital for many years and later completed her professional career at Bristow Housing.

On June 5, 1965, Patricia Norwood married the love of her life, Clarence Friday Jr. To this union, two children were born, Ronda S. Delt and Terrance Shawn "Poo" Friday. Following the passing of her beloved husband, Patricia opened her heart and home and adopted two children, Wade Connor Friday and Dominic Spencer Friday. She also lovingly raised Matt Gilford, who considered Patricia his mother. Each of her children held a special and cherished place in her heart.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Clarence Friday Jr.; her son, Terrance "Poo" Friday; her sister, Alice Ruth Sims; and her brother, Marshall Norwood.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her daughter, Ronda Delt of Bristow, Oklahoma (Robert); sons, Wade Friday of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Dominic Friday of Kiefer, Oklahoma; (Crystal) sister, Brenda Norwood of Kansas City, Missouri; brother, Eric Norwood of California; and her beloved grandchildren, Derrick Antonio, Zachary Delt, Dayzia Friday, Terrance Friday Jr., Makynzia Friday, Kyron Friday, Jordan Wesley, Rylan Wesley, Lariah Anderson, Teigan Thomas, and Daniel Bishop.

She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, extended family members, friends, and loved ones who will forever cherish the memories of her life, her love, her faith, and the many ways she touched their hearts.

Patricia's legacy of love, faith, strength, and devotion to her family will continue to live on through all who knew and loved her. Though she is no longer with us in body, her memory remain in our hearts forever.
