Oscar Anthony Wanatee was born February 19, 1945, to Michael and Lyda Wanatee in Tama, Iowa. He departed this life July 2, 2022, at the age of 77. He graduated High School in Iowa and later attended a trade school where he received his certification for heating and air. Oscar enjoyed going to church where he was able to fellowship with other believers. He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by two brothers, Michael Wanatee Jr. and Johannes Wanatee Sr; numerous cousins and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Myron, and William Wanatee and one sister, Priscilla Wanatee. A wake service is scheduled for 7:00pm, Friday, July 8, 2022, at the Matherly Davis Family Center with burial to be at 9:00AM, Saturday, July 9, 2022, at the Butler Family Cemetery
