Olga Christine Howard was born February 6, 1934 to Marcus and Dovie Bettis in Nacogdoches, Texas.  She departed this life May 9, 2022 at the age of 88 years.

Christine, as known by all, grew up attending school in Jal, New Mexico.  After graduating high school, Christine Bettis and J.F. Howard were united in marriage on December 22, 1952.  To this union were born three children.  Christine was a devoted wife and mother.  Though she sometimes took small jobs, her life's work was caring for her family.  She loved the farm life; helping with chores when needed and always doing her part within the home.  She was very involved with her children and grandchildren's lives, celebrating their successes right along side them.

Christine is survived by two children, Stacy Howard and Delinda Butler, both of Depew; one brother, Charlie Bettis; seven grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren with two on the way.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 69 years, J.F. Howard, one daughter, Lecrecia Huls and two brothers, Homer and Willie Bettis.
