Norma Jane Childress, 82, of Stroud, Oklahoma, passed peacefully on November 9, 2025. Born on December 12, 1942, one of many children born to Clayton and Velma Langley in El Reno, Oklahoma.
On January 7, 1958, she married the love of her life, Gerald Childress; to this union four children were born. A talented beautician by trade, Norma spent many years helping others feel their best. Her passions extended beyond her work. She found joy in crocheting, painting, gardening, and nurturing the vibrant flowers she lovingly planted. Her artistic spirit was evident in the beautiful pictures she created and the life she cultivated around her. Her greatest joy was watching her grandchildren grow to have children of their own.
