Morris Dale Heppel, Sr. was born June 26, 1936, to Frank and Christel (Petty) Heppel, in Ralston, Oklahoma. He departed this life on December 16, 2023.

Dale was raised in Skedee and Blackburn, graduating with the class of 1954. He was united in marriage to Cindy Johnson on February 14, 1981, in Stillwater.

He enjoyed golfing, raising cattle and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy, of the home; children, Monte Heppel and wife, Stephanie, Chuck Heppel, Toby Heppel and wife, Suzy, Nikki Gillespie and boyfriend, Jason Floyd, and Kyle Heppel and husband, Ben; nine grandchildren, April Hughes and husband, Justin, Ryan Heppel and wife, Karli, Shaun Heppel, Maci Graves and husband, Steven, Turner Heppel, Christian Heppel, Maggie Heppel, Catie Heppel and Cody Heppel; seven great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his sibling's Leslie Heppel, Jerry Heppel, Naomi Bode, Donald Heppel, Daniel Heppel and Jimmy Heppel.
