Mona Lee Jones was born March 20, 1936, near Sapulpa on an oil lease known as Porter Hill.  She was raised by parents, Raymond, and Dollie Jones.  She departed this life September 30, 2022, at the age of 86.

She was a 1954 graduate of Bristow High School.  Mona retired from Southwestern Bell after many years of service.  She had many hobbies she enjoyed such as cooking and baking, going to garage sales, flowers and most importantly spending time with her family, especially her nephews.

She is survived by one sister, Carolyn Smith; one brother, Fred Jones, and wife Rhonda and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Gary Irvine, and Casey Jones.
