Maudine Corey was born November 27, 1928, to Dave and Maude Crystal Burgess in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.  She departed this life November 13, 2022, at the age of 94.

After graduation Maudine worked as an operator at the telephone company in Bristow.  On February 17, 1950, Joseph Corey and Maudine Burgess were united in marriage.  From this union were born two children, Mary, and Patricia.  They enjoyed forty-eight years together before his passing September 2, 1998.

She had lived in Tulsa since 1989 moving there from Louisiana.  She enjoyed playing bridge and visiting with her family and friends.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Corey, and Patricia Kirk; one grandson, David Kirk.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and four siblings, Ozie, Olen, Alvis, and Avis.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00PM, Thursday, November 17, 2022, at the Bristow City Cemetery.
