Mary Ann Butler was born February 2, 1935, to Anderson and Rose Allen in Pawnee, Oklahoma. She departed this life, June 16, 2024, at the age of 89.

On August 28, 1953, Larry Butler and Mary Allen were united in marriage in Drumright, Oklahoma. From this union were born eight children, Elizabeth, Charles, Marion, Larry Jr., Viola, Melissa, Rosemary, and Allen. They enjoyed almost 52 years together before his passing August 9, 2005.

Mary was a member of the Sac & Fox Elders committee. She was also a member of the Native American Church of Oklahoma Sac & Fox chapter.

She enjoyed being outdoors. From her youth she walked all over the place, sometime even all the way to town. She also enjoyed sewing, gardening, and going to the casino.

She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Wolftongue, Charles Butler, Marion Renshaw, Larry Butler Jr., Viola Buckley, Melissa Denny, Rosemary Blie, and Allen Butler; two sisters, Ellen Sue Griffith, and Marilyn Johnson; twenty-two grandsons; fourteen granddaughters; thirty-three great grandsons; thirty two great granddaughters; four great great grandsons, and one great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, Francis, Anderson Jr., John, and Thomas: three sisters, Constance Irene, Lula, and Marcella.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00AM, at the Allen Family Cemetery. Pallbearers include Daniel Rowell, Garrett Denny, Solomon Butler, Charles Butler, Obie Butler, Chris Butler, Tyrone Butler, and Christian Butler.
