Mark Wayne Bennett was born July 3, 1957, to Dwayne Lee and Leona Catherine Bennett in Canadian, Texas.  He departed this life May 21, 2024, at the age of 66.

He retired from Bowen Carpets after several years of service.  In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by three children, Tina Lamb, Tabitha Dugan, and Mark Wayne Bennett Jr.; one brother, Rex Bennett; several grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Fate Bennett.
