Marilyn Virginia Roth was born February 17, 1956, in Wichita, Kansas. Her birth parents were Neal Mathews and Hazel Jackson. The father that raised her was Glenn Jackson. She departed this life March 14, 2024, at the age of 68.

She attended Bristow Public Schools. On August 9, 2000, Marilyn was united in marriage to Douglas Roth in Bristow, Oklahoma. Marilyn enjoyed cooking, sewing, fishing, and being outdoors. Her true love came out when she was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Douglas Roth; four daughters, Linda Stafford, Kimberly Stafford, Danielle Stidman, and Danelle Olivera; stepdaughter, Branndi Roth; one sister, Penny Cooper; one brother, Larry Mathews; fourteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, Glenn Jackson; one son, Freddie Roy Staford Jr.; three sisters, Shirley Carter, Florine Mays, and Melody McNew; one brother, Floyd Mathews.
