Obituary

Margy Beach was born February 1, 1938 to Ulysses and Alice Rothhammer in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  She departed this life August 11, 2022 at the age of 84 years.

Margy was a 1956 graduate of Malrose High School in Malrose, Florida.  She married the love of her life, Donald Lee Beach Sr. November 28, 1959.  Bristow became their lifelong home when they made the move with their family from Sand Springs.  Margy balanced daily the work at home with her career as a data specialist for Shell Oil Company.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bristow who strived daily to walk in the ways of her Lord.  She loved to garden and enjoyed her time outdoors.  Though she made time for many things, family was always at the fore front of everything.  Margy loved family time and games.  Shuffling up a game of dominoes or dealing out a hand of pinochle came without thought whether with friends or family.  Her grandchildren and later in life her great grandchildren kept the sparkle in her eye and youthfulness in her candor.

Margy is survived by her three sons, Donnie Beach Jr. and wife Sharon, Mark Beach and wife Carla and Mike Beach and wife Misty all of Bristow; one brother, Grant Rothhammer; one sister, Carol Henderson, six grandchildren, Katy Herman and husband Chad, Dru Esmeyer and husband Bo, Cody Beach, Casey Hayworth and husband Jake, Clint Beach and wife Raven and Caylee Graves; eleven great- grandchildren, Teal Esmeyer, Judd Esmeyer, Chance Hayworth, Lacey Hayworth, Ty Hayworth, Ellie Hayworth, Ava Jolley, Ollie Beach Hollis Beach, Easton Graves and Cora Mae Graves.  She was preceded in by her parents, husband of 60 years, Don; one great-grandson, Cash Herman; five sisters, Alice Price, Melva Mulligan, Joyce Walker, Stella Blevins and Wanda Shamblee; two brothers, Alvin Rothhammer and Glen Rothhammer.

Memorial services will be held 10:00am, Saturday, August 20, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Bristow.  Online condolences may be made to the family at www.hutchinsmaplesfuneralhome.com
