Margaret Helen Ward was born September 15, 1925, to George Faires and Minnie Mae (Cassity) Faires in Davenport, Oklahoma. She departed this life January 15, 2024, at the age of 98 years.

Margaret was raised in Shamrock, graduating from Shamrock High School. She was united in marriage to Elmer Ward in 1949.

She was saved in 1956; she was a member of the Assembly of God Church; she loved cooking; she was an amazing cook and could cook whatever you wanted.

Survivors include her two sons, Terry Ward and wife, Esther, of Moore and Marc Ward and wife, Kathryn of Oklahoma City; four grandchildren, Shannon Lynn Vick and husband, Richie, Rodney Brock Ward, James Brock Ward and Steven Don Ward; great-grandchildren, Taryn Kendall-Lynne Ward and Makenna Ward; and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Elmer Leroy Ward, Margaret was preceded in death by one son, Rudy Wallace Ward.

Graveside services will be Friday, January 19, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. in the Fairlawn Cemetery.
