Lynn Ray Farmer was born March 30, 1954 to Johnnie and Annabell Farmer in Cushing, Oklahoma.  He departed this life June 13, 2025 at the age of 71 years.

Lynn was a 1970 graduate of Fairfax High School in Fairfax, Oklahoma.  He owned and operated a business with his dad, Seaba Engines, for many years in Warwick, Oklahoma. Lynn had spent the last several years working in the oilfields of Oklahoma.  Lynn moved to the Bristow area in 1995.  He and Barbara Compton were married June 1, 1996, they shared the better part of 21 years before her passing in 2017.  Lynn was a hard worker. His many years in the oil industry was 365 days a year.  Everything he did was all the way 100% never doing anything halfway.  He was passionate about hot rods; the faster, the louder, the better. Lynn and his cousin, Cecil, whom he loved like a brother, spent countless hours at tractor pulls, the drags and races in general.

Lynn is survived by his father, Johnnie Farmer; son, Preston Farmer and Heather Warren; daughter, Stephanie Edwards; two brothers, Johnny Farmer and wife Cheryl and Stephen Farmer; seven grandchildren, Candice Farmer, PJ Farmer, Emily Farmer, Caleb Farmer, Nathaniel Edwards, Ethan Edwards and Emily Pope; two great grandchildren Derrick Farmer and Anna Medina.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Annabell Farmer; wife, Barbara Farmer; two sons, Clifford Farmer and Jon Pope.

Funeral services will be held 2:00pm, Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Hutchins-Maples Matherly Chapel interment will follow at Magnolia Memorial Gardens in Bristow.
