Loyd Andrew Johnston was born October 23, 1937, to Sam and Ellie Johnston in Hugo, Oklahoma.  He departed this life January 5, 2024, at the age of 86.

He worked as a steel worker at Rogers Galvanizing for over forty-four years.  He enjoyed taking care of his cattle and spending time with his family.  He was a simple man who raised his sons to work hard and take care of your family.

He is survived by two sons, Rick Johnston and wife Robyn, and Stevie Joe Johnston; one sister, Esther McDaniels; seven grandchildren, Bonnie Johnston, Steven Johnston, Clint Johnston, Colby Johnston, Kyle Johnston, Amy Sager, and Keri Johnston.  He also has numerous great and great great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sons, Bobby, and Davey Johnston.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00PM, Thursday, January 11, 2024, at the Bristow City Cemetery.
