Loyd David Arnold was born August 10, 1939, to Silas Loyd Arnold and Dorothy (Dulany) Arnold in Cushing. He departed this life on September 19, 2024.

David graduated from Drumright High School. He was united in marriage to Ruby Meyer on December 14, 1963; she preceded him in death on October 1, 2003.

David enjoyed hunting, fishing and bluegrass music.

Survivors include two sisters, Nancy Lyon and Margaret Cordray; numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

In addition to his wife and parents, David was preceded in death by one sister, Patsy Cross.

Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. on Monday, September 23, 2024, in the Flynn Cemetery with Pastor Sonny Johnston officiating.
