Louis Perry Watkins, longtime Cushing resident, passed away Sunday evening, November 10, 2019 at his residence at the age of 83 years. The son of the late John Carl Watkins and Lavone Perrin Watkins, Louie was born on July 1, 1936 in Cushing, Oklahoma and was raised and educated in the Ripley community, graduating from Ripley High School. Louie had been a farmer for many years, raising cattle and taking care of his farm. He is survived by one son Steven Watkins; one grandson Will Watkins; three siblings, Clarice Lang of Owasso and Darlene Graham of Owasso and Melvin Watkins of Oklahoma City; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
