Potter
Aug 17, 1956 — May 3, 2026
Bristow
Lois Darlene Potter was born on August 17, 1956, to Onis and Neta Few in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She departed this life on May 3, 2026, at the age of 69. Lois grew up in Bristow and attended Bristow Public Schools before moving to Boynton for her senior year, graduating with the Class of 1975.
On July 31, 1976, Lois Few and Steve Potter united in marriage. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion, and from their union came two children, Chrissy and Steve Jr. Lois and Steve enjoyed nearly forty years of marriage before his passing on February 1, 2016 but will be sharing their 50th wedding anniversary together in heaven.
Lois had a joyful spirit and a love for the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed shopping—especially browsing garage sales and Goodwill stores—always finding treasures and bargains that made her smile. She loved driving her golf cart down the quiet country backroads and spending sunny days at the lake tanning. Above all, Lois cherished time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
She is survived by her daughter, Chrissy Patnaude and husband Brian; her son, Steve Potter Jr. and wife Brandy; and her three beloved grandchildren, Hailey Mitchell, Kayla Mitchell, and Caden Potter. Bonus daughter, Tessa Hill and husband Bobby; bonus grandchildren, Keaton Patnaude, Teddy Patnaude, Briauna Hill, Cooper Hill; bonus great grandchildren Kasen "Bub" Piper, Everleigh "Flower" Patnaude, Willow Patnaude, and Emerson "Peanut" Hay. She is also survived by her six siblings: Neta Ray and husband Roger, Betty Lunsford and husband Leonard, Onis "Termite" Few, Gina Few, Tina Few, and Molly VanBrunt and husband Danny; as well as her loyal grand dog, Bandit.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Potter Sr.; her parents, Onis and Neta Few; her brother, Dale Few; her grandmother, Mollie Few; father and mother‑in‑law, Bert and Ada Mae Potter; cousin, Debbie Johnson and best friend, Paul Smith.
Lois's wishes were to have no formal service.
