Lillian Dolores Eden of Cushing, OK passed from this life to her eternal home on June 30, 2023. She was 99 years old.

Lillian was born at home in Wellston, OK to John and Eliza Fowler on November 25, 1923. On December 23, 1943 she married the love of her life, Charles L. Eden. They met at a school dance where Charles was the new handsome teacher and Lillian's sister was a student. She only agreed to attend the dance with her sister if she would introduce her to the new teacher. They were married 60 years before Charles' death in 2004. They are now reunited and dancing in Heaven.

Lillian loved reading, traveling and dancing. Lillian would often say she had great parents, a great marriage, a great family, great friends and a wonderful life with no complaints. Her smile, kindness and positive attitude was such a blessing to all that knew her. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Lillian was welcomed home by many loved ones that preceded her in death, but is survived by many nieces and nephews as well as her "adopted" family Vickie and Lynn Meeks and son, Tim.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 5th at 1:00 pm at Matherly-Davis Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kevin Clouse, of the First Church of God, officiating.
