Obituary

Lila Bell Hindman-Iverson, 75, of Stroud, left this life on November 21, 2022, at Stroud Nursing Home. She was born October 20 th , 1947, to Glenn & Nancy Hindman in Oroville California.

Lila attended Butte College in California and graduated with a bachelor's in nursing. She married James (Jim) Iverson on October 1 st , 1976, and they had 1 child, Myron, and adopted 3 children Robert, Randy & Chris.

She worked as an RN for 30 years and retired from Oroville Hospital. Lila loved to read, watch Soap Operas, shop, and go to church. She attended Welcome Tabernacle Free Holiness Church in Stroud Oklahoma. Lila was a loving wife, mother, aunt & friend. She will be remembered fondly by all.

Lila is survived by her sons Robert and wife Nancy of Wichita Kansas, Chris Iverson and wife Beckie of Sapulpa Oklahoma, and brother Raymond Hindman and wife Pat of Oroville California as well as many nieces, nephews & grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Glenn & Nancy Hindman, brother Randall Hindman, husband Jim Iverson, and sons Myron & Randy Iverson.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 29, 2022, from 5:00PM – 8:00PM at Hutchins-Maples Matherly Funeral Home in Bristow. Funeral services will be 10:00AM, Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Welcome Tabernacle Free Holiness Church in Stroud Oklahoma with the Pastor Nathan Wood officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Cemetery in Kellyville.
