Lenora "Nora", 90 years of age, passed away peacefully in her home at Satsuma, Florida, on October 3, 2024. She was born November 28, 1933, to Claude and Lillie Mae Dean.

Nora was united in marriage to Kenneth Ray Barrett on June 10, 1950, in Florence, Arizona; he preceded her in death on July 4, 2002.

Nora was baptized into the Church of the Firstborn. She had worked as a cook for Oklahoma State University for several years. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her dog, family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Bill Barrett and wife, Judy; her daughter, Brenda Baker; grandsons, T.J. Wynn, Shawn Barrett, Kenneth Barrett, Matthew Barrett, Scottie Barrett, Mitchell Fleetwood and Daniel Barrett; several great and great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Nora was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Ray Barrett; son, Kenneth Henry Barrett; daughter, Diane Hardee; grandsons, Tim Wynn, Bucky Barrett and Dougal Barrett.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2024, in the Tryon Cemetery.
