Larry Wayne Kreps was born on July 18, 1957, in Bristow, Oklahoma, to Melvin James and Patty Mae Kreps. He departed this life on March 22, 2026, at the age of 68.

Larry attended Bristow Public Schools and remained a lifelong resident who loved the simple joys of small‑town life. He had many interests over the years, including fishing, riding around town, and spending time at the lake. But above all else, Larry treasured the moments he shared with his children, grandchildren, and great‑grandchildren. His happiest days were the ones filled with family.

Larry is survived by three children: Melody Edwards, Natosha Stidman and husband Bobby, and Larry J. Kreps and wife Amanda Vandercar; his life partner, Zonna Ford; and stepchildren, Paul Merritt and Brandi Merritt. He is also survived by eight siblings: Johnny Kreps, Jeanie Kreps, Sharon Lang, Kenny Kreps, Donald Kreps, Susan Eslick, Mike Kreps, and Kevin Kreps.

Larry leaves behind eleven grandchildren—Paige Wilhite, Chelsea Stidman, Kennedy Kreps, Haden Kreps, Hailey Stidman, Morgan Kreps, Taylor Stidman, Teagan Edwards, Brenlyn Stidman, Hope Keeth, and Hazel Keeth—and seven great‑grandchildren: Aliliana Alvarez, Waylon Wilhite, Gator Wilhite, Cotton Wilhite, Annie Wilhite, Nash Poor, and Madilyn Poor, with one more blessing on the way, Winsley Robles as well as numerous nieces and nephews whom he dearly loved. One step grandchild, Blaire Merritt.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Janie Orr; and one brother, Tommy Kreps.

Larry will be remembered for his easygoing nature, his love for the outdoors, and the deep devotion he held for his family. His presence will be missed, but his legacy lives on in the generations who loved him.
