Larry E. Eslick was born June 20, 1944 to Olen Lewis and Florence Ruth (Gott) Eslick in Bristow, Oklahoma. He departed this life on November 5, 2024 at the age of 80.

Larry attended Gypsy Public Schools for eleven years and graduated from Depew High School in 1962. After serving in the Vietnam War from 1964 to 1968, Larry was united in marriage to Dorothy Moreland in 1969. They enjoyed fifty-four years together before her passing in 2023.

They made their home in Giddings, Texas for numerous years. After her passing, he moved back to Bristow to be with family. He worked in the oilfield in several capacities. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in the yard. As he got older, being outdoors became more limited, so he developed a joy for watching western movies, especially with John Wayne and Clint Eastwood.

He is survived by one brother, Clyde Eslick and wife Nancy of Bristow; Sister-in law, Dee Eslick of Bristow; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Dorothy Eslick, two brothers, Walter "Shorty" Eslick and Leroy Eslick and two sisters, Linda Summerlin and Sue Gautreau.
