Kevin Lyn James was born on October 22, 1975, to Marvin Ray James and Wanda Sue (Hahn) James in Cushing, Oklahoma. He departed this life on January 2, 2024, at the age of 48 years.

Kevin was raised in Stroud, graduating from Stroud High School with the class of 1994.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being with his friends. He worked for Oklahoma Natural Gas for several years and had been working at Tractor Supply at the time of his passing.

Survivors include his two children, Westin and Khrista James of Bristow; his parents, Marvin and Sue James of Ripley; his sister, Kim Gibbons and husband, Robert, of Mustang; many aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marvin & Marcene James; one nephew, Blake Harris; several aunts and friends.

Memorial services will be January 11, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. in the Crossway Church.

Donations in his honor, may be made to the Matherly-Davis Funeral Home to defray funeral expenses.
