Kenneth Dean Wood was born to Valton and Reba Wood October 25, 1950, in Holdenville, Oklahoma. He departed from this life May 24, 2025, at the age of 74. He was surrounded by family and friends throughout his final days.

Kenny graduated from Cushing High School in 1968. On July 25, 1968, Kenny Wood and Charlene Butler were united in marriage. Charlene was the love of Kenny's life. From this union were born four children, Stacy, Niki, Kristi, and J.R. They built their life from the ground up and never lost sight of their love for each other.

Kenny was the owner and operator of KW Well Service. He enjoyed working and spending time with his family. You could always find him keeping the highways hot, making sure he attended every sporting event of his grandchildren, no matter how far. Kenny loved nothing more than to support his family. Whenever he would meet someone new, it wouldn't take long before they knew about his 11 grandsons and 2 granddaughters. From football and wrestling to cheer and dance, he attended it all beaming with pride. Above everything, Kenny valued hard work and family and would do just about anything for those he loved.

Kenny is survived by his wife of 56 years, Charlene Wood; three children, Niki Wood-Myers, Kristi Link and husband Landon, J.R. Wood and wife Rachel: two brothers Rick Wood and wife Karen, and Joe Wood: grandchildren, Josh Myers and wife Cassidy, Dawson Myers and wife Mariah, Keegan Myers, Macy Link, Hannah-Beth Chapman and husband Ben, Hagan Myers, Jackson Link, Harrison Wood and wife Kailee, Lane Wood, Max Wood, Dylan Link, Jayden Link, and Drew Wood; ten great children and two more on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Stacy Michelle Wood, and one brother Steve Wood.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm, Tuesday, May 27, 2025 in the First Baptist Church in Cushing.  Burial will follow at Euchee Valley Memorial Park.
